Situated in an area popular with walkers and cyclists, Haldon Forest boasts 1400 hectares of woodland whether you want a quiet gentle stroll or an exhilarating mountain biking experience, there is something here to suit all abilities. Nearby Escot Park has over 45 acres of beautiful and enchanting ancient woodland and gardens, with bears, wolves, arctic foxes and owls, among some of the many animals you will have the chance to spot. Nearby Exmouth is a traditional seaside town with a wonderful golden sandy beach or head to the pretty fishing village of Beer with its limestone cliffs and working fishing boats. Other popular days out include Charmouth with its fossil-rich beaches or Exeter with its imposing cathedral and historic quayside.
