From the driveway half a dozen steps lead down to the front door. A small entrance porch provides a handy space for kicking off walking boots and shoes.

Once inside you have a well equipped and spacious kitchen off to the left, In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob, electric oven and microwave.
Sun Room – new addition for 2025!
Off the kitchen is a lovely, large sun room with glass roof, conservatory style furniture and French doors which lead out into the garden at the rear. At the other end of this room is a utility area with sink and washing machine. PLEASE NOTE – this room does not have heating or lighting so is only suitable for use during the warmer and lighter months.
Living / Dining Room
A living/dining room to the rear with door out into the small garden. The living room has a television and wood burner to provide supplementary heating if required. A small set of steps lead down from the living room into the garden. Lovely coastal views can be enjoyed from this room in addition to a viewing platform.

To the front of the property is the double bedroom. Ample hanging and drawer space has been provided across the two bedrooms.

The family bathroom WC comprises of a bath with handheld shower attachment, basin and heated towel rail.

The renowned picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac can be accessed on foot within just a few minutes from Shellseekers. Down on the harbour you will find the local fisherman bringing in the catch of the day.
The family friendly golden sand beach at Polzeath is 6 miles away with the dog friendly beach at Daymer just 8 miles. The bustling town of Wadebridge with a wide selection of amenities including supermarkets and two screen cinema is 10 miles.
The popular villages of Tintagel and Boscastle are less than a half an hours drive away with the bustling town of Bude further along the north coast off the Atlantic Highway 25 miles offering plenty to do for all the family.
Outside to the rear there is a small area of flat lawn with a small pond. Furniture is provided to take in the glorious views. The remainder of the garden is quite steep to access and therefore not suited to families with children under the age of 6 years.
With its narrow streets of white-washed cottages and Cornish slate-fronted houses, winding your way through picturesque Port Isaac can feel like taking a step back in time. Steeped in maritime history, the village was once home to a thriving pilchard fishing industry and a bustling port, and with much of the old centre of the village dating back to the 18th century, many buildings here are officially listed because of their architectural and historic importance.
Today Port Isaac is an idyllic spot to base your holiday in Cornwall. Based in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on the Atlantic Heritage Coast, there are beautiful views whichever way you look. During the summer months, fishing and scenic trips can be taken from the harbour, whilst the South West Coast Path offers stunning coastal views at any time of year.
Nearby Port Gaverne is a pretty unspoilt cove around the corner from Port Isaac which is perfect for families with young children, with its sheltered, sandy beach, and plenty of fascinating rock pools to explore. Whilst the popular surfing beach at Polzeath, is just 4 miles away, as is the golden sandy beach at Daymer Bay, which is very family and dog-friendly.
A few miles to the west, and within hiking distance, is Port Quin, a village deserted since sometime in the 19th century when all of its menfolk were lost one night in a storm at sea. Now it is primarily owned by the National Trust. The walk from Port Isaac to Port Quin offers breathtaking views, and along the route you will pass Doyden Castle, a truncated Gothic tower on a rocky outcrop that was once used in the TV drama, Poldark.
Just 1.5 miles from Port Isaac you'll come across the only public gardens on the North Cornish coast, Long Cross Victorian Gardens. The gardens overlook the coastline and retain their original Victorian layout, featuring 4 acres, a maze, small lake, dovecote, children's play area and pets' corner.
