    More Information

This beautiful townhouse is in the centre of Castleton in the Peak District National Park. The owners run the adjoining B&B and their expertise in providing a comfortable stay shows in the level of finish at this lovely cottage. Set over three floors, the top floor features a king-size and twin bedroom sharing access to a large Jack-and-Jill shower room. The first floor has a king-size double bedroom and a double room, each with an en-suite shower room. All four bedrooms have a TV, though you may prefer to view the stunning scenery from the windows instead. The very spacious, open plan kitchen/dining room is extremely well equipped with a split oven and induction hob. The dining area is a great place for a dinner party or a hearty breakfast while your group plans the next day’s adventure, inspired by the uninterrupted views of Mam Tor and the hills of the stunning Hope Valley. The tastefully-appointed sitting room is comfortable, light and airy and the patio to the rear is a great place for alfresco dining with a breathtaking backdrop. Stroll just ten minutes from the cottage and you are faced with many activities such as exploring a castle, taking a boat trip 450 metres underground, or just enjoying some of the many shops, cafés, real ale pubs and restaurants. Venture a little further to the hills and you find yourself in walking, cycling, birdwatching, paragliding, rock climbing and caving heaven. A great place to stay to suit all tastes and seasons.
