At the southern end of our land, there flows the crystal clear chalk stream of Ashford Water. With its tree lined banks, it’s a perfect place for a picnic, and with Wild Trout and Grayling swimming in the stream, it’s an idyllic place to fish and enjoy the wildlife as badgers, deer and foxes may be seen throughout the grounds.
We’re lucky enough to have fishing rights to this section of the river, and is a facility that guests can take advantage of. So if you are a keen fisherman, or would just like to while away a sunny afternoon, it’s yours to enjoy.
As the garden is not enclosed dogs and children must be supervised at all times.
