This charming get-away is suitable for up to 4 persons to stay. With public footpaths on the doorstep leading to the Shropshire Way. The Stiperstones, Longmynd Hills, Linley Beeches and Offs Dyke are all other walking options just a short drive away. Step inside and unwind from your journey within the light-filled sitting room. The interior offers bags of character, with a woodburning stove adding warmth to a cold winter’s night, set within a beautiful stone fireplace. Curl up on the sofa with your loved one and find a programme on TV or simply take in the stunning views, with a refreshing beverage to uplift your mood. Should you wish to stay in for your meal, the well laid out kitchen is ideal for cooking, nevertheless there a plenty of places to dine out. Wetnor boasts a village shop with all the essentials catered for, plus a wonderful choice of home- made cakes, sandwiches & pies etc. The market town of Bishops Castle is close by, hosting many events throughout the year, including walking festivals, the Michaelmas fair, a carnival, live music bands every Thursday evening at The Vaults, a beer festival and many others. There are also all the pubs, cafes and shops you would expect to find in a vibrant market town. Ludlow, home to Ludlow Castle, also offers an outdoor theatre, antique fairs and a riverside cafe. Other attractions nearby include Powis Castle, the Severn Valley Railway, and the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge. Also local, is the very handy, large co-op store at Churchstoke, which holds a car boot sale every Sunday and a very successful charity fun day, held every August.
