    As the name suggests, The Cider Barn is a former cider barn, now beautifully converted and offering bright and spacious accommodation throughout.

    It really is fabulous retreat away from the stresses and strains of everyday life with plenty of little details providing guests with maximum comfort during their stay. Sitting in a stunning location, the semi-detached stone barn overlooks the rolling landscape around it and the River Severn in the distance.

    Perfect for all the activities on offer in the area, the property is located on the south eastern border of the Forest of Dean and is also on the edge of woodland with easy and immediate access to the many paths criss-crossing the woodland.

    The bedroom located on the first floor is spacious, bright and cosy, with one double bed complete with an ensuite shower, basin and WC. Downstairs, the open-plan living area and kitchen are great and have all you could ever need.

    The outside garden area outside of the house is extensive, with a small pond to sit around during the summer months to chat, and if you wish to have food out there is a paved patio area with table and chairs.

    The thriving of village of Newnham-on-Severn nestles on the banks of the River Severn. The village is steeped in history, and offers specialist shops to suit all interests, along with traditional pubs and cafes. This charming village, part of which is designated Conservation Area, has a tree-lined main street, many listed buildings, a striking clock tower and is ideally located for watching the spectacular Severn Bore.

    The Royal Forest of Dean, England’s largest oak forest, offers numerous trails that can be explored on foot, bicycle or horseback.
