Light and airy accommodation is split over two levels, with the layout ensuring full enjoyment of breathtaking views of the Taw Valley and far reaching North Devon countryside, from both the spacious living area and large balcony.
The Hive is well located in reaching popular North Devon towns and beaches, and both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are easily accessible by car.

The village makes a great base for a walking holiday, as both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are within easy reach, where you can hike past wild ponies and granite tors. For cyclists, the Tarka Trail is also nearby, while keen golfers should head to Libbaton Golf Club, a hidden gem just a mile away from High Bickington offering a scenic and challenging course.
It's also really easy to swap countryside for the coast, with North Devon’s gorgeous beaches just a 30-minute drive away. Choose between Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands or Croyde, and enjoy salty surf sessions, sand castle building and coastal walk.
Back in the village, you’ll find a little post office and two pubs serving drinks, hearty food and a friendly welcome, while for independent shops and farmers’ markets, the nearby towns of Barnstaple and Great Torrington are worth a visit.
