Be welcomed into this delightful abode, offering a wonderful stay for a couple, hosting everything you could need for your self-catered stay. As soon as you step into the cottage you will notice its quirky but delightful studio -style open-plan layout, composing of a kitchen, sitting area and dining area, it offers a lovely spot to spend your evenings with your loved one. Take a seat in the pair of armchairs and indulge in the escapism of the television and a glass of wine before heading to bed before an exciting day ahead. You can find the bedroom on a plinth in a private alcove of the room, offering you privacy and the perfect place to rest. In the mornings, sit at the dining table with a hot cup of coffee before heading outside to join the rest of the courtyard; just outside your front door is a shared courtyard with furniture, offering the perfect place to round up the troops before heading out to explore the stunning scenery of the Lake District. Braithwaite itself is full of traditional appeal, with the Coledale Beck flowing through the village, lined by whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two village shops, and welcoming real ale inns rich in character. Not far away, the beautiful Newlands Valley stretches between Braithwaite and Buttermere, giving you the choice between gentle countryside strolls and more demanding routes leading towards Skiddaw. Bassenthwaite Lake is another highlight, inviting you to discover Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on its shores, complete with an open-air theatre and opportunities to enjoy the water. For a livelier atmosphere, make your way to Keswick, where Derwentwater, the Lake District Wildlife Park, and Dodd Wood provide a mix of lakeside views, walking trails, and wildlife encounters.
