The back kitchen door leads out into a small courtyard where you will find the 'outhouse' which accommodates the laundry equipment comprising of washing machine and tumble dryer, and a handy W.C.

To the front of Captains Cottage is a small southerly facing terrace with a bench and table…a perfect spot for morning coffee and taking in the glorious view. From the rear courtyard, a flight of 12 Cornish granite steps take you up to the pretty hillside garden with a small lawn, 6 steps continue up to a terrace, and a further 10 steps lead up to a railed decking area with barbecue and garden furniture provided and more terrific views.

Enjoy an audio tour before heading outside for far-reaching views over the River Fal. St Anthony’s Lighthouse, a short drive away, sits at the eastern entrance to Falmouth harbour. Some youngsters from the eighties may recognise it, as it featured in the much children’s hit TV series Fraggle Rock.
