Escape to Woodgreen, a picturesque New Forest village, where ponies, donkeys, deer, cattle and even pigs roam freely across the large village green and through the quiet lanes. Fir Trees can be found amongst the woodland along a Forest track, and has been lovingly restored to combine rustic charm and unique interiors. Cottage stairs take you up to the beautifully presented master bedroom, boasting a super king bed and window seat overlooking the garden. A desk doubles as a work space and dressing table, and the ensuite bathroom has a free standing bath under the picture window and large walk-in shower. Outside the gardens wrap around the cottage, with plenty of space to enjoy, and a decked area is perfect for al fresco dining or simply relaxing and enjoying the woodland views. Perfectly located, Fir Trees offers walking and cycling routes right from the front door!
The pretty village of Woodgreen is a short walk away, with a local pub which is extremely popular for drinks and dining and an award-winning community shop stocking all your holiday essentials, along with quality local produce. Within a 10-minute drive is the picturesque town of Fordingridge, with its medieval bridge spanning the River Avon, and a selection of shops, boutiques, pubs and café’s. Other local attractions include the New Forest Water Park, Breamore House and the Dorset Heavy Horse Farm, plus the glorious beaches of the south coast and the cathedral city of Salisbury.
Outside
The peaceful gardens surround the property, with mature trees and natural planting bordering the large lawn. An area of decking has outdoor table and chairs for al fresco meals and drinks, and tranquil views of woodland and paddocks prevail. As livestock roam freely, please ensure the gate is closed at all times!

There is parking for 2/3 cars in front of the garage just outside the gate to the gardens.
