Really comfortable accommodation for 4

One of a small number of holiday homes set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland

Welcomes up to 4 well behaved dogs

A short drive to the golden sand beach at nearby Perranporth

Less than a ten minute drive from the holiday resort of Perranporth with its three-mile stretch of golden sands, Little Croft, Croft Cottage, Beech Croft, Hazel Croft and Pine Croft are attractively set in just under four acres of mature gardens, fields and small areas of woodland on the outskirts of the village of Goonhavern.

The village has a local shop and post office, pub, and large garden centre with a pet, greengrocer, gift shops and a cafe, all within a short 10 minute stroll. Perranporth, 2.5 miles away, has a sandy beach popular with families and a number of cafes, restaurants, pubs, a small supermarket and surf hire shop.

The cathedral city of Truro and the bustling seaside town of Newquay are approximately a 15 minute drive respectively and this is an ideal location for touring the county. There are riding stables and a golf course nearby.

Outside

Fringed by mature trees and lawns. On the patio, there is a brick BBQ for the sole use of this cottage.

Whilst each property has its own outside space, the owners encourage visitors to make full use of all the grounds for recreational purposes, where there is an enclosed paddock to exercise dogs. Guests are welcome to make use of the outdoor table tennis table in the front courtyard. Barbecue and garden furniture provided.

Volt share electric charging is available on site, please advise if required when booking.

The local area

Dreaming of exploring Cornwall’s beautiful and dramatic north coast yet want to avoid the hustle a bustle? Choose a holiday in Goonhavern, a traditional Cornish village only two miles inland from Perranporth where you can enjoy peace and quiet.

The village itself boasts a shop where you can pick up all the essentials, a friendly pub, The New Inn, and a garden centre with a café. But no doubt you’ll be spending most of your holiday in Goonhavern discovering the stunning stretch of coastline only a few miles away.

The nearest beach is Perranporth, a huge three-mile stretch of golden sand with enough space for everyone. Whether you’re a family looking for rockpools, ice cream and lifeguard cover, a dog owner treating your pooch to doggy paddles, a keen surfer or simply want some space to enjoy the fresh sea air and beautiful views, you’re bound to find it here. Perranporth is also home to a selection of beachside pubs, cafés and restaurants, including the hugely popular bar, The Waterhole Hole, which sits right on the sand and hosts regular music events.

From Perranporth you can join the South West Coast Path and enjoy some of the most beautiful coastal walks in the country. Crantock, Poly Joke, Holywell Bay and St Agnes are all nearby, each offering soft white sand and breathtaking sea views.

With both Newquay and Truro a 15-minute drive away, you’ll never be short of things to do during your stay in Goonhavern. Newquay is the surf capital of Cornwall and is packed with family-friendly attractions, including an aquarium, zoo, cinema, swimming pool and more, while the cathedral city of Truro is home to interesting independent shops and big high street names.

From coastal walking adventures and beach days to bustling towns and their many attractions, you’ll be able to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer when you book a holiday in Goonhavern.
