A cobbled courtyard immediately outside the cottage has garden furniture and extends out to a small fenced garden leading to ten acres of private moorland that descend down to the river and lake. The 10 acres of grounds (occasionally shared by the owners) are a wildlife haven and are available for visitors to explore and enjoy.
