Formed around the twin villages of Inner and Outer Hope, the cove benefits from two golden sandy beaches, and an abundance of rock pools for the kids to potter about in, looking for signs of marine life.The beach at Inner Hope often offers perfect conditions for safe body boarding.
Hope Cove is home to the Hope and Anchor pub and The Cove, an uber-cool café bar that serves late breakfasts and sunset suppers just a stone's throw from the scenic beach. The Hope Cove Gallery exhibits wonderful local art and crafts, and is a great place to pick up a souvenir or just have a lazy browse to escape the summer sun. Alternatively, treat yourself to an ice-cream, find a quiet bench and watch the waves gently roll into the bay.
