On the edge of Breage, about 500 yards from the pub is The Hayloft, a detached ‘upside down’ cottage which has been beautifully converted from a stone barn. The far-reaching panoramic sea views to Porthleven in one direction and Breage church in the other are simply superb. Inside, is no less impressive, designed to a high standard, great care has been taken to provide you with everything you’ll need for a wonderful holiday. Handsome oak stairs lead up to a bright and spacious, dual aspect, open-plan living area, with original beams, Velux windows and a door leading to a decked area and steps down to garden. On the ground-floor are three pretty bedrooms a king-size double with en suite shower-room, a twin (zip-linkable to 6′ double), and a single. Outside, the enclosed lawned garden with raised decking and table and chairs is a great place for enjoying lovely sunsets. The Hayloft is an idyllic cottage in a secluded location, yet close to the wonderful surfing beach of Praa Sands and Rinsey headland for lovely coastal walks. Further afield, the old town of Helston has a range of amenities, and Flambards family theme park is a great day out for your little thrill seekers. For a more relaxed turn of pace, why not try the seal sanctuary at Gweek.
