Ridges 4 is a bijou apartment with a stunning view over Maenporth Beach. It's the perfect choice of holiday accommodation for a couple or smaller family, with a double bedroom and a twin. Having been refurbished over the last few years, it now has a contemporary kitchen and new, comfortable lounge furniture. Both bedrooms have also had a complete refit including carpets, beds and furniture.
With the advantage of no steps, you’ll find an open-plan living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen. The balcony has a wonderful view over the sea, with a table and chairs for al-fresco dining. There’s even a small breakfast bar if one of you needs to catch up on emails whilst the family watch a film.
The Maenporth Estate is an exclusive holiday resort overlooking a beautiful sheltered cove. You’ll have 29 acres of mature gardens and woodland to explore and could well see a wild hare or squirrel looking for its supper!
There’s an abundance of leisure activities that should keep the whole family happy, and all included in your tariff. We have a 15-metre indoor swimming pool with tables and chairs poolside. Changing rooms and hot showers are available too. If you need a quiet spot to answer an email, try the wi-fi lounge overlooking the pool.
Relax in the sauna or the Jacuzzi because you are on holiday after all! You can enjoy the sun terrace and the communal barbecues – it’s a lovely area and quite the sun trap.
For the competitive family members, there are pool and table tennis tables, or one all-weather tennis and two pickleball courts. Simply collect racquets and balls from reception
Let the little ones run off steam in the children’s play area where you’ll find play equipment, a grassed area plus two football goals.
It’s a 10-minute walk down to the hill to Maenporth Beach where there is a super café, the Cove Restaurant, and kayak and paddle-board hire. It’s a steep walk back up though!

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the Fal and Helford rivers, Maenporth ticks all the boxes for an unforgettable seaside holiday.
Wooded slopes lead down to a sheltered sandy beach. With soft, golden sand perfect for sandcastles and clear, shallow waters, Maenporth beach is popular with families all year round. There are rock pools to explore and a great beachside café selling everything from ice creams, teas and coffees to fresh crab sandwiches. If one beach just isn’t enough, Falmouth’s Gyllyngvase beach and pretty Swanpool cove are both within two miles.
Holidays in Maenporth can be as action-packed or relaxing as you wish. Whilst you can enjoy tranquil beach days soaking up the beautiful views, you can also try your hand at a whole host of water sports. From Maenporth beach you can hire kayaks and paddleboards and explore the stunning coastline by water, or you can take the plunge and learn to dive with Seaways Diving School – the sheltered waters make it ideal for beginners.
The South West Coast Path runs through Maenporth offering stunning walks in every direction, so don’t forget to pack your trainers. Walk for two miles to reach the vibrant harbour town of Falmouth or head in the opposite direction to reach Helford Passage and its brilliant waterside pub, discovering hidden coves along the way.
You don’t have to travel far for good food, as Maenporth is home to an award-winning restaurant, The Cove. Set on the edge of the beach, it has a large terrace where you can enjoy an alfresco lunch or post dog walk coffee whilst enjoying the uninterrupted views of Falmouth Bay. For dinner, tuck into their delicious a la carte menu in the Glassroom restaurant, which, as its name suggests, makes the most of its impressive outlook.
Only two miles from Maenporth is Falmouth – home to the third largest deep-water harbour in the world! Here you’ll find endless things to do and places to eat. Explore the historic ramparts of Pendennis Castle, discover Falmouth’s vibrant history in the National Maritime Museum or browse the town’s many art galleries and boutique shops.
